Simon Borst

 Biography painter simon borst paints plein-air, nature is my studio. From 197I worked spatially, sculpting and modeling in Amsterdam. From 1997 I made the decision for me to focus on drawing and painting. Gradually, the plein-air painting has developed itself . You might call me a self-taught in the tradition of the Impressionists, I feel good in the wild. Among factors such as lighting, structures and spatial objects trying to find my style. Colorful figurative and abstract lighting. Small size but also big sized work. With great courage and sense of craft, I try to add something to the work produced so far. Because I am now involved in organizing projects such as the dutch florence biënnale artists  and several foreigh projects i like to keep in contact with other counties
